Her emphasis in lessons is on efficient vocal production and a relaxed and natural voice that is a pleasure to listen to. Yvette loves all kinds of music, and sees it as her duty to provide her students with a well-rounded musical education.
Yvette has been also been playing piano since age eight. She enjoys Seymour Fink's foundational work on piano technique, written about in the book Mastering Piano Technique. Yvette regularly performs piano too, and accompanies singing students for exams and performances.
She has a one hundred percent success rate with student exams and has taught in both North and South Islands in New Zealand, Queensland, and Melbourne, Victoria.
Yvette's other major interest is writing. She spent two years as Pontas Literary and Film Agency's youngest ever client and has signed three multi-book international publishing contracts. She has ten books published.
